Weekend 7/16-17

The students all had a busy weekend.

Shuria went for a drive on Saturday and garden shopping on Sunday.

Yukina spent the weekend swimming and had a BBQ at the lake.

Natsu went to a parade and had her face painted on Saturday.  On Sunday, she played on the trampoline at her host family’s friend’s home.

Masahiro went to The Back Street Boys concert.  On Sunday, he went shopping and swimming at the West Edmonton Mall.

Keigo went shopping at the West Edmonton Mall.  He went to his host family’s aunt’s home on Sunday.

On Saturday, Urara went to the West Edmonton Mall for six hours.  On Sunday, she celebrated her host sister’s birthday.

Akane spent Saturday at the West Edmonton Mall.   On Sunday, she went to Urara’s sister’s birthday party.

Yuka went to an art festival on Saturday and had a BBQ on Sunday.

Aya went to the farmer’s market on Saturday.  On Sunday, her host mother’s friend came to the house for dinner.

On Saturday, Marina went to the Calgary Stampede and bought a cowboy hat.  On Sunday she went to an outlet mall and bought a suitcase band.

Masaya went to Drumheller Park on Saturday and went to see a new house on Sunday.

Tsutomu went shopping, to church and to his host grandmother’s house for dinner.

Naozumi went to the Rocky Mountains.   He spent time at Jasper and saw the new Harry Potter movie.  On Sunday, he went for a bike ride.

7/16 The First Week

The students had a great week.  They have settled into classes just fine.  We all went to the sports center on Friday and had a good time.  The students are spending the weekend with their host families.  I will report what they all did and post some pictures.
