Mall and One Card

We had a great time shopping at the Edmonton Mall.  Some of the students bought clothes and souvenirs.  Others enjoyed watching the water park activities and ice-skating.   Today, we went to the main campus and each received our ONE card.  The ONE card allows us access to many of the amenities that the University of Alberta campus has to offer.  Amenities such as library privileges, wireless internet and discounts in and around campus.  Tomorrow after classes, we are going to the Kinsmen Sports Complex for tennis and other activities.

Edmonton 7/13

The students met at 7:45 at the University of Alberta campus and went off to classes together.   After lunch, the students had day 2 orientation class.  Tomorrow we are going to West Edmonton Mall.  They are all looking forward to the shopping and sightseeing. 

Edmonton Weekend

We had a busy weekend here in Edmonton. It was cold and rainy.

Sheria went shopping but didn’t buy anything. 

Yukina went shopping and bought clothes and nail polish.

Natsu went to a paintball park but didn’t play.  She went to the super market on Sunday.

Masahiro went shopping and bought a polo shirt, cards and Chapstick.

Keigo went for a walk.

Urara and Akane went shopping at Kings Way Mall.

Yuka went for a drive to her homestay sister’s cousin’s house.

Aya had a party at her homestay house.

Marina went to West Edmonton Mall with her host family.

Masaya went to Albert Museum with his host family.

Stomu went to church, watched TV and played Uno.

Koazumi went to the Edmonton triathlon and the super market.
